Quote: Attention Fixions:
FoFF would like to announce its immediate departure from FIX. In the following paragraphs, each & everyone concerned will understand the exact reasons for this difficult decision. We, in FoFF have always considered ourselves warriors in the utmost sense, we have been a tight knit group of brothers fighting solely because we live for it. When fighting slows, WE look for it, when fighting comes to us, WE confront it. In the last few weeks, fighting has for the first time in our eve careers has become a chore.
We belong to an alliance that has as much politics as N.A.T.O., taking months to make changes that should be changed. Military actions are being decided in groups of politicians. These politicians have lost their ability to empathize with Fixions due to their lack of game play and their lack of respect from those that they command. Each week an order was assigned & ignored. We listened however, even to our deaths.
This brings us to the members of FIX itself. Our territory as Fixions extended, as we viewed it, 9cg to Fat, yet only a select few cared much about Fat. Too many cared only about production, ships, mining or the places they liked. Too few cared about FoFF or where we resided. Alliance number peaks at 200, gangs peaked at 90. Battleships were required, we flew them while others flew frigs. To those that fought valiantly, we tip our hats. To those that sat on their asses, FOFF.
FoFF itself was disrespected, Major Riven was ignored with every piece of advise given. We lead kill-boards weekly & monthly yet had less leaders than corps that produced one forth of the kills. We had the first Dreadnought (even though we arenĘt a production corp), the strongest POS, the ideas on how to Neutralize the Dreads. When FoFF leaders lead the gangs, we won, when our leaders logged, the alliance suffered horribly. Why exactly were we so alienated by everyone? Was it too far to travel, too much isk to risk? Whatever the reason, the consequences have come.
Before ending this letter, we must, as honorable soldiers, give props to those that fought like beasts, we recognize that FIX wasnĘt all bad. This truly was a difficult decision, as we had very, very high hopes for this alliance, but not all dreams come true. We had a dream, oh yes, we did have a dream & now that dream has died. Good luck with the remaining fight, hopefully those still in the comma wake up before the plug gets pulled. Signed FOFF
